We’re entering the final stages of the conversion of the Grade 2 listed Corn Exchange in Crickhowell High Street into shops and flats.  And what a challenge it has been.  We have faced and rectified really significant structural problems caused by the removal of load bearing walls and beams and had to do the work under the tightest of budgets from this community funded scheme.

The screed floors being poured in the new retail units.

Throughout the project we have talked to the clients and found innovative ways to keep costs under control.  Tudor Vers was so impressed with the project that he bought shares.  We are all looking forward to seeing the building full of interesting new shops to help keep this lovely town alive.

The new balcony being constructed at the back will give our flats some outside living space.
