Gail and Tim Jones are “absolutely delighted” with the new two-roomed detached annex built by Celtic Property next to their pretty cottage in the Brecon Beacons National Park.  And the new space is proving a big hit with visitors – as they are now letting one of the rooms on AirBnB and received seven bookings in their first week.

Gail said” We are thrilled with the new build.  It has been finished on budget to a really high spec with underfloor heating and a vaulted ceiling in the bedroom.  The standard of the finishes are really high and Tudor and his team helped us with design suggestions along the way.  We have no doubt our guests will love it and it will feel like a luxury getaway. The bench seat, set into the log pile designed by Mike will be a big hit with our visitors.  We’ve now called our AirBnB The Log Cabin”.

The building had challenges for Celtic – surface water runoff from a nearby field meant we had to put in land drains and a soak-away and raised footings, but the result is fit for anything the Welsh weather can throw at it.  #newbuild #cottage #underfloorheating #annex #extension

The Log Cabin has stunning views but had to be solidly built to withstand the hill-side weather.

The vaulted ceiling in the guest bedroom. Underfloor heating gives an even temperature and uncluttered rooms.

The en-suite shower room.
